The Kanyon Outdoor Yew is a really innovative country boot that looks great and performs superbly. First, the looks. The Kanyon boot is made using water resistant full grain leather with pig suede panels, which gives it a super, rich finish, and a lovely look on the leg. The Kanyon Outdoor Yew topline is finished with a scalloped elastic gusset at the back and a riveted strap and buckle to close the boot to your requirements. The side lace is not only functional but good looking, adding interest and lifting the boot. To stop the lace flapping around, Kanyon have added a tie back with a press stud – neat as well as functional. In performance, we’ve had nothing but praise about the boot’s fitting. Behind the side lace there is a waterproof gusset with up to a 3 inch spread in the calf – from ankle to the boot top, every wearer can wear the boot exactly as they like it. This is useful for all wearers but particularly helpful for people with high arches, who often have difficulty passing the foot into the boot.
